Webinar: How an Advisory Board can Boost your Business
May 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEST
Presenter: Louise Broekman
Organisation: Advisory Board Centre
What would it mean for your burgeoning business if you could call upon the smarts of other entrepreneurs, CEOs, scientists, engineers, marketers, etc. to help you make the right decisions about the direction you’re taking—not self-professed online ‘gurus’ but reputable experts who know your business and who care about your success?
An Advisory Board is an effective way to benefit from genuine support and insight along your start-up or scale-up journey.
An advisory board can connect you to bigger networks and expertise that you might not have on your operational team – like how to successfully market to a different consumer group, make acquisitions, or mentor the next generation of innovation champions in your business, for example.
In this webinar, Louise Broekman, founder and managing director of the Advisory Board Centre, will describe how entrepreneurs and business owners are fast tracking results with the help of their advisory boards. She will also explain the differences between governance boards and informal and formal advisory boards; the benefits of a formalised advisory board; and the factors to consider when setting up or joining an advisory board.
